What we collect
Almost nothing. Your history, bookmarks, notes and AI conversations stay on your device. No usage telemetry, no tracking ads, no profile of you. The one diagnostic Velnode can send — a crash report — is off by default and shown to you before it leaves.

Your data lives in plain files you own, on your own machine — not in our database. Optional cross-device sync is sealed on your device first, so we only ever hold zero-knowledge ciphertext we can't read.

Velnode's source can be viewed for transparency and security review. It stays proprietary — viewing the code isn't a licence to copy, modify, or redistribute it.
